Some Precautions for General Trade Food Import Declaration

1. It takes about 12 days to apply for "Import and Export Food Label". The exporter should provide at least one sample for each product. And each product need one label which is valid for two years;

2. After getting the import label, we can then arrange for product importation. The commodity inspection will take samples and the test will take about 15 days. The goods shall be controlled within 7 days from the date of arrival at the port to the date when the container is towed to the warehouse to avoid leasing the container;

3. Labeling can be arranged after the goods arrive at the warehouse.
