The European Union assesses #the safety of natural cetylated fatty acid as a #novel food
On July 21th, 2021,the EU Nutrition, Novel Food and Food Allergens (NDA) Research Group issued scientific opinions on the safety of natural cetylated fatty acids (Cetylated Fatty Acids) as a new type of food .
After assessment, the panel concluded that 1.6 grams of natural cetylated fatty acid per day is safe for the target population(ie adults).
